I played a major role throughout the rebrand of Bulk Powders to Bulk™ helping transition the design system elements from typeface to imagery that featured across the site and emails.The design system was put in pplace to streamline the process of designing emails with a component based approch. Designing product launch landing pages that inform and aim to acquire new customer base.Core areas of focus within my role were, to ensure emails maintained consistency of customer-centred design, while also continually developing on the site’s user experience to increase positive company metrics.

About Bulk’s Health Supplements

Bulk’s new health collection gives its customers everything they need to be at their best performance throughout the day. Each product in the range contains a researched combination of vitamins, minerals, nutraceuticals and extracts with evidence-based health claims. All the while using 100% European-sourced aluminium that is the most widely-recycled material, keeping in line with their new sustainability approach.

The Process

Going in to this project I knew that this range needed to be different from the current ranges and have a more lifestyle look and feel. Starting with looking for inspiration, I soon came across a pattern of using hand models to hold the pill pots, creating a sense of familiarity between product and customer. Once presented to the creative team they took this inspirations and made the photography come to life.

With a clear direction defined, this allowed me to move onto wireframing both desktop and mobile views. Once the toolkit landed, it was up to me to design the high fidelity landing page, which I would present and deliver to the development team to code onto the live site.
